Cape Byron Lighthouse. Dawn - 21st May - 2008.
The full moon sets over the Cape Byron Lighthouse as the sun rises in the East. At the same time a whale jumped off the Port bow and Eli's fishing line went crazy with a big tuna. Averaging about 10 - 12 knots in a keen westerly. Due to equipment failure later that day, we had to abandon ship at Southport. It was to be Eli's last venture at sea. |
Eli's P.O.V.
St Albans Cemetary, N.S.W
Thursday 12th June, 2008.
Took us about 8 hours to dig Eli's grave (no machines!).
There was plenty of help on hand....fresh blood arriving every couple of hours to take a turn in the dirt.
