Prior to the 3rd  inquest

(March 2010) into the death in custody of Cameron Doomadgee (Palm Island Qld. 2004), local lads from Palm Island,  Desert Pea Media and The Smugglers of Light Foundation have joined forces in the creation of a vivid commentary on the ongoing difficulties facing the community of Palm Island and the people of the Bwgcolman tribe.

The lyrics were written & recorded by Toby Finlayson & Matthew Priestley in May 2009 at Palm Island during a hip hop mentoring program with local residents Kiefer Walsh, Morris Walsh and Patrick Seaton.

The music was co-composed and produced by Nigel Westlake.

Royalties earned from airplay go directly towards Smugglers of Light Foundation by special arrangement with APRA.
